Sunday, April 3rd we headed out of Denver and went to Golden to tour the Coors Brewery (another free tour!). Again today, since it was the weekend, the production line wasn't running which was a disappointment. But it was still fun to go on the tour of the factory and see the process of how beers are made. After the tour we got to go into the tasting room and I tried a Blue Moon beer with a slice of orange in it. It was good but not great; I'll stick with a regular beer over that.
After the Coors tour we drove alittle bit further and got to Red Rocks Amphitheater. This was a very pretty, outdoor concert venue. What shocked me were the hundreds of people there exercising...running up and down the stairs, doing lunges up the stairs. I don't know how they could do it. I was so out of breath from the thin air just by walking up all the steps!
