It's been awhile since I've been on here. Bennett and I have been going to my mom's every day to help her out since her surgery. Other than that, we haven't been up to much - just lots of running around and cleaning for her. So, here are just a few pictures to get you updated.
Here is a picture of mom with her "new" back! She's doing really well these past few days. Hopefully within a few more weeks she'll be getting back to her normal routines. She walked down the driveway to get the mail the other day so she felt really good about that!
This picture is also the first time that Bennett has sat in "uma's" lap since her surgery 4 weeks ago.
I finally had a chance to get Bennett a much needed haircut today. What a handsome little man! I think he has had 4 real haircuts in his life. I was saying just the other day how long his hair would be if he was a girl and hadn't needed to get it cut it.

Rachel, thanks for posting the picture of your mom! I've been wondering how she looks. Also, it can be a pain to have to cut boys hair all the time, but with girls, then they get their hair hanging in their eyes all the time, and so much food stuck in their hair. I kind of miss the days of a baby with short hair!
