4 Months

Ashley turned four months last week. She has changed so much in the last month. She is so much more active - looking at things, watching Bennett, grabbing at things, and keeping herself alittle more entertained. She still loves her exasaucer and has figured out how to play with and move all of the things attached to it. We've also put her in her jumper a few times and she seems to like that too. We also have a toy with stuff for her to grab while she's laying on the floor and that keeps her pretty busy too. During this month she's become really clingy to me and has had a number of crying sessions (from what I've been told), when I'm not around. This is not good and hopefully doesn't last! I started her on rice cereal and a little applesauce a few days ago. She did pretty good with it tonight and kept most of it down. I'm hoping this will cut down on a bottle or two a day since right now she is having almost 35 ounces a day. She has been having about 5-6 oz. almost every two hours. Hopefully filling her tummy up with alittle rice will help with this otherwise we'll go broke. She had her 4 month checkup on Tuesday. I had to bring Bennett with and when it was time for her shots, he saw it happen. Needless to say, I had to comfort him too as he was just about crying too. He was so concerned about her it was sweet. Here are her 4 month stats: Weight - 14 lbs. 8 oz. (72%) Height - 25 inches (79%) She is in size 2 diapers and size 3-6 or 6 month clothes.
