The Mielke, McManus, Hier & Ford families all went to Lutheran Island Camp again this summer. Everyone came and went all week with what worked with everyone's work schedules. Mike had to leave on Monday to get back to work but I stayed till Friday with the kids. We had great weather and a really fun time. This year was very different in the fact that we are now a boating family and spent the afternoons on the boat tubing and wakeboarding and in the mornings and evenings fishing. (In case you didn't know, Mike and I bought a boat this spring! He received his dad's inheritance money so one of the things Mike immediately said was that he wanted a boat for our family to enjoy.)
